Scratch your way across America’s national parks.

Scratch & Sketch™ National Parks turns some of America's remarkable landscapes and landmarks into a hands-on art adventure.

Use the included wooden stylus to trace the white outlines on each black-coated page. As you scratch, hidden colors and shimmering foil appear underneath, transforming each scene one line at a time.

Along the way, young explorers can visit places ranging from Acadia and California's redwoods to Hawaiian volcanoes and Mount Rushmore, with illustrated pages sharing facts and information about the places they're discovering.

Once the guided pages are finished—or whenever inspiration wanders elsewhere—20 additional sketch pages provide room for drawing and inventions of their own.

No paints to unpack. No markers rolling under the table. Just grab the stylus and start scratching.

Why We Love It

There's something extremely satisfying about revealing the picture as you make it.

The outlines give younger artists enough guidance to jump right in, but the extra sketch pages make sure the experience isn't limited to tracing somebody else's ideas.

We also like the combination of making + discovering a real place. Scratch through a redwood scene, learn a little about where those enormous trees actually grow, and perhaps start wondering what it would be like to see them yourself.

And we'll give bonus points to any art supply that can entertain someone on a road trip without requiring a cup of rinse water.
