My Neighbor Hayao is a vibrant collection of artwork inspired by the films and imagination of legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. Curated by San Francisco’s Spoke Art Gallery, the book brings together interpretations from more than 250 contemporary artists, each responding to the characters, landscapes, creatures, and stories that have made Miyazaki’s work so beloved.

Across its pages, familiar worlds are reimagined through hundreds of different artistic perspectives—from forest spirits and fantastic creatures to airborne adventures, quiet landscapes, and courageous young heroes.
