Friends just hanging by the campfire.
Campfire Stories gathers a little group around the fire for one of the simplest good things: a warm flame, the night settling in, and nowhere else anyone needs to be.
Originally created for Natalie Andrewson’s monthly Patreon Riso Subscription, the scene celebrates the kind of evening where good company is enough of an adventure.
Hand printed by Natalie Andrewson in her Los Angeles studio, this three-color Risograph layers blue, yellow, and fluorescent pink inks to give the nighttime scene its warm, glowing character.

Why We Love It
Not every adventure needs a quest. Sometimes everybody makes it back to camp, somebody gets the fire going, and the best part of the story is sitting around together afterward.
About the Risograph Process
Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.
About the Artist
Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
