Christmas Cottage 3D Advent Calendar – Angela Harding

A little winter world, waiting for December.

The Christmas Cottage Advent Calendar transforms Angela Harding’s beautiful printmaking into a snowy countryside scene that grows more delightful as Christmas approaches. A cozy cottage sits among deer, birds, fences, and woodland visitors, with stand-up illustrated pieces creating a three-dimensional display to enjoy throughout the season.

Behind 24 illustrated windows, a new festive discovery waits for each day of December. As the days pass, the calendar becomes part countdown, part miniature winter landscape—and a lovely invitation to slow down for one small moment each day.

At an impressive 12 x 15.6 inches, it’s substantial enough to become part of the holiday décor on a mantel, sideboard, or table, while still packing flat for gifting or sending to someone far away.

Why We Love It

This feels less like an advent calendar and more like an Angela Harding print you get to step into a little further each day. We love the tiny ritual of opening a window, adding to the scene, and watching a snowy woodland world become part of the house for December.

It’s the sort of holiday decoration we can imagine carefully packing away—and being genuinely excited to find again next year.

Why We Love the Maker

Founded in Britain in 1993, Art Angels celebrates exceptional art and printmaking through beautifully made cards, calendars, and paper goods.

Their collections bring together contemporary printmakers and influential artists, giving artwork a life beyond the gallery wall through pieces designed to be sent, displayed, and kept.

We love Art Angels’ eye for work that feels timeless without feeling ordinary—and especially the way their sculptural paper designs turn illustration into something you can interact with, unfold, and make part of your own space.
