At the edge of the frozen wastes, the village of Oxdrift has endured bitter winters for generations. But lately, the temperature has fallen beyond anything even the oldest villagers can remember.

Snow is burying the village. The cold is becoming impossible to withstand. And if something doesn't change, Oxdrift may have to be abandoned.

Then there’s the beacon.

High on the nearby mountain stands an ancient structure that has remained dormant for centuries. Now the beacon is burning again, casting an ominous light while the unnatural cold spreads across the land.

In The Frozen Beacon, a one-shot adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5e, a party of level 10 adventurers must leave Oxdrift behind, climb toward the beacon, and discover what has awakened at its peak.
