Grog Strongjaw Champion Dice Set – Critical Role, Vox Machina

Bring the brute, the brawn, and maybe an ale.

Inspired by Grog Strongjaw, Travis Willingham’s lovable goliath barbarian from Critical Role’s Vox Machina, this Champion Dice Set imagines Grog at the height of his considerable power.

The sharp-edged epoxy resin dice combine deep red and metallic grey with black mica shimmer, scattered with red and silver foil that catches the light with every roll. Dark grey numbering finishes the set, while the d20 replaces the 20 with a custom tankard icon—a fitting tribute to one of Exandria’s most enthusiastic appreciators of ale.

The Champion Set

Critical Role’s Champion Dice Set series is an imagined depiction of a character’s epic endgame, carrying familiar character inspiration forward to envision them at the height of their power.

For Grog, that means bold red, flashes of metal and silver, plenty of brute strength—and a tankard waiting on the d20.

Subtlety was never really the assignment.

The Dice

This set includes 7 sharp-edged epoxy resin polyhedral dice.

Dice included: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, percentile die

The dice feature dark grey numbering, with a tankard icon in place of the 20 on the d20.

Because of the nature of the resin and inclusions, exact coloration and placement may vary between individual dice and sets.

Champion Set Packaging

The dice arrive in a custom illustrated display box with a Critical Role logo-shaped window, surrounded by artwork depicting Grog with a menacing grip on Craven Edge.

Inside, a brown velveteen drawstring bag embroidered with the Critical Role logo keeps the set protected between adventures.

Designed for both play and display, the presentation is part of what makes the Champion Dice Set series special.

Grog Strongjaw is a member of Vox Machina, played by Travis Willingham in Critical Role’s first campaign.

A formidable warrior with tremendous strength, fierce loyalty, a fondness for ale, and a surprisingly big heart, Grog became one of Vox Machina’s most beloved heroes.
