More classes. More worlds. More ways for things to go wonderfully, terribly wrong.
Hope & Fear expands Daggerheart with a hefty collection of new options for both players and GMs—from four new classes and an eerie new Domain to new ancestries, communities, equipment, adversaries, campaign frames, and an entirely new way for characters to change: Transformations.
Become a Witch, Warlock, Brawler, or Assassin. Reach into the new Dread Domain for deliciously macabre magic. Build characters from new ancestries and communities, or let an existing story take a dramatic turn by becoming a vampire, werewolf, ghost, shapeshifter, reanimated character, or even a demigod.
For GMs, Hope & Fear adds more than 130 adversaries, 28 environments, new equipment and items, and four campaign frames ready to send your table somewhere new.

Why We Love It
It makes character creation dangerous again. The new classes and Dread Domain aren't just more choices—they open up character concepts that feel genuinely different from what's in the Core Set.
Transformations are wonderfully troublesome. Vampire? Ghost? Werewolf? Demigod? These aren't merely cosmetic character options; they're a new mechanic designed to let major changes become part of the story.
GMs get plenty to play with, too. New adversaries, environments, equipment, campaign frames, and blank adversary sheets make this much more than a player-options book.
It expands Daggerheart without replacing it. Hope & Fear is an expansion to the Daggerheart Core Set, giving an existing table substantially more room to build characters, worlds, and trouble.
