This is an Enthusiast-level project, with approximately 10 hours of making time—a satisfying choice for someone with needle-felting experience or a confident crafter ready for a longer project.

Everything needed to make Mr. Foxy is gathered into the kit, including wool, felting needles, structural materials, a work surface, and full-color instructions.

Why We Love It

Ten hours is plenty of time to become emotionally attached to a fox.

We love projects that reveal themselves gradually, and Mr. Foxy has plenty of opportunities for that. First there is wool and wire. Then a recognizable shape. Then ears, eyes, a nose—and somewhere along the way he stops looking like a craft project and starts looking like Mr. Foxy.

The longer making time also makes this one particularly satisfying for someone who already enjoys needle felting and wants a project substantial enough to settle into over several evenings.
