Into the Crooked Woods follows a band of friends beneath twisting branches and deeper into a strange and inviting forest. Curious creatures, winding paths, and the promise of something just beyond sight give the scene the feeling of an adventure already underway.

This small edition brings the Crooked Woods into an intimate 8.5" × 11" format. Hand printed by Natalie Andrewson in her Los Angeles studio, the three-color Risograph layers blue, yellow, and fluorescent pink inks for rich, glowing color.

About the Risograph Process

Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.

About the Artist

Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
