Maze’s End turns a winding, multicolored maze into a world of its own. Originally created for the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair release 10 Ways to Win: Tanuki Commander, the piece brings Natalie Andrewson’s layered color and narrative illustration into the world of Magic.

Hand printed by Natalie Andrewson in her Los Angeles studio, this small three-color Risograph layers fluorescent pink, blue, and yellow inks to create its bright, dimensional maze.

About the Risograph Process

Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.

About the Artist

Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
