Build an ecosystem. Keep it balanced. And keep an eye on everyone else.

In Ecologies, you’ll build and maintain food webs across diverse biomes, combining organisms into healthy ecosystems while deciding how best to protect what you create.

Each biome has its own ecology and offers unique rewards when it becomes healthy and balanced. But you aren't building in isolation. Other players can disrupt and degrade your ecosystems rather than nurturing their own, turning environmental balance into a surprisingly competitive bit of strategy.

Designed by a biology teacher, Ecologies grounds its gameplay in real ecological relationships. The deck features 77 unique organisms across 7 biomes, using beautiful vintage Victorian artwork to bring the natural world to the table.

It’s scientific enough to be used in biology classrooms, but there is plenty of strategy, competition, and ecosystem meddling to make it equally at home on game night.

Build Your Ecologies

Create food webs by combining organisms and developing relationships within each biome.

Balance your ecosystems to keep them healthy and earn their unique rewards.

Protect what you build as other players look for opportunities to disturb your carefully constructed ecology.

Explore seven different biomes, each creating its own ecological puzzle.

Three Ways to Play

Standard Mode offers the complete strategic game for ages 12+.

Simplified Mode introduces younger players ages 8+ using the included simplified rules.

Single Player Mode lets you take on the ecological challenge on your own.

Why We Love It

The science is part of the game. Food webs, organisms, biomes, and ecological balance aren't simply illustrations on the cards—they're fundamental to what you're building and managing.

It belongs in both classrooms and game rooms. The game is used to teach real biology concepts, while the competitive strategy gives players a reason to keep bringing it back to the table.

There are 77 different organisms to work with. That variety gives the ecosystems a sense of richness while creating plenty of relationships to discover through play.

The artwork is beautiful. Vintage Victorian-style natural-history imagery gives the deck the feeling of an old scientific collection—just one in which your fellow naturalists may sabotage your ecosystem.
