About the Risograph Process

Risograph printing is a layered, hands-on process where each ink color is applied separately. Because of this, slight shifts in registration and the occasional roller mark are completely natural—and part of the charm. These small quirks ensure that no two prints are ever exactly identical, giving each piece a unique character.

“Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist and printmaker specializing in vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Her work is inspired by fantasy and folklore she grew up with in the creeks and woods of North Carolina. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California, and prints and ships out of her studio in Atwater Village.”
