Working on wool-mix felt fabric, you'll gradually create a pair of otters inside a 15 cm bamboo embroidery hoop. Full-color photographic instructions guide you through the process, and the kit includes the materials and tools needed to make the finished scene.

With approximately two hours of making time, it's an approachable project for someone new to needle felting—or a satisfying little afternoon make for someone who already knows their way around a felting needle.

And when the last bit of wool is in place, the hoop becomes the frame. Your otters are ready for the wall.
