Why We Love It

It's the robin. Of course it's the robin.

The sleepy fawn is already lovely—the resting pose, those little spotted markings, the soft woolly texture—but then there's a tiny bird keeping her company.

That small detail turns the finished project into a scene rather than simply a figure, and we love the little story it creates without needing to explain anything at all.

At around six hours, this is also an interesting project in the collection: approachable enough for a newer felter, but substantial enough to spend several quiet sessions shaping, detailing, and watching the scene emerge.

And once they're finished, we assume the fawn and robin are free to remain together whenever they want, for however long they want.
