Why We Love It
The tiny fairy doing very serious tomato work gets us every time. It captures that wonderful intersection of gardening and folklore where, frankly, it seems entirely reasonable that somebody small is helping while we aren't looking.
About the Risograph Process
Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.
About the Artist
Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
