Why We Love It

There’s a sense of motion and independence in this one that feels different from Natalie’s more communal little worlds. Even without being given the rest of her story, Wild River Girl feels like someone already on her way somewhere.

About the Risograph Process

Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.

About the Artist

Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
