A longer project for a rather magnificent hare.

The Wild Scottish Hare Needle Felting Craft Kit from The Crafty Kit Company is an Enthusiast-level project designed for felters ready to spend some time building shape, structure, texture, and wonderfully long ears.

Designed by artist Alison Rumbles, the kit uses 100% Corriedale wool over an internal armature to create a detailed three-dimensional Scottish hare. Glass eyes add the finishing expression, while full-color step-by-step instructions guide you through the making process.

With approximately 10 hours of crafting time, this isn't a quick afternoon project. It's one to settle into over a long day or several evenings, watching your hare gradually emerge from wool and wire.

Finished, the hare stands approximately 28 cm tall, including those excellent ears.
