Snow is falling. Even dragons know when it’s time to settle in.
Winter Dragon welcomes the quiet turn toward hibernation season, when the forest disappears beneath snow and its inhabitants tuck themselves in for the cold months ahead. Peaceful and wintry, this gentle dragon brings the seasonal series to its coziest conclusion.
Hand printed by Natalie Andrewson in her Los Angeles studio, this three-color Risograph layers blue, yellow, and fluorescent pink inks to create its glowing, frosted palette.

Why We Love It
After all that waking, feasting, and mushroom inspecting, even a dragon deserves a long winter nap. We love the hush of this one—the snow, the stillness, and the sense that the whole forest has finally settled down.
About the Risograph Process
Risograph printing is delightfully imperfect. Each color is printed separately, so slight shifts in registration and occasional roller marks are a natural part of the process. These variations give every print its own character.
About the Artist
Natalie Andrewson is an illustrator, cartoonist, and printmaker known for vibrant, narrative Risograph prints. Inspired by the fantasy and folklore she grew up with among the creeks and woods of North Carolina, she now lives and works in Los Angeles, printing from her Atwater Village studio.
